100 Thieves returns to Call of Duty with LA Thieves

Earlier today 100 Thieves owner Matthew “Nadeshot Haag” announced that esports organization 100 Thieves will be returning to the Call of Duty esports scene with his new Call of Duty League team going by the name of the LA Thieves. This is a long time coming for fans of the COD legend after 100T announced last year they would not enter the CDL in its inaugural season.

100 Thieves Enter CDL

This news takes place after rumors surfaced a few weeks ago about the LA Thieves move. Though Call of Duty fans liked the prospect of 100 Thieves’ return, it was just a rumor at the time. Los Angeles Thieves takes the slot of OpTic Gaming after Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez recently regained ownership of his beloved LA team. It is unclear what the veteran owner will do with the Chicago Huntsmen. But H3CZ was one of the first to address Nadeshot, welcoming him back to the Call of Duty esports scene.

100 Thieves was last seen competing in the Call of Duty World League under the MLG banner. 100 Thieves official and only stint was throughout the duration of the Black Ops 4 season. The team would pick up multiple championships and was considered one of the best teams in the world.

LA Thieves Roster

LA Thieves made a short time in announcing the roster. Kenny “Kuavo” Williams, Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat and Thomas “TJHaLy” Haly join up with the thieves while Zack “Drazah” Jordan starts from the bench for the 2021 CDL season. Los Angeles Thieves have yet to announce its fourth and final starter for the 2021 season.

Kenny and Slasher will be reuniting with Nadeshot and 100 Thieves as the pair competed under the organization when they were last in the scene. Fans can expect big things from 100 Thieves this season. This is an organization that strives to win and only win. They are not in it for the sake of having a team and competing. Nadeshot has been passionate about Call of Duty his entire career and will finalize an LA Thieves roster he is confident in that can pick up a league championship or two.
