Where Will DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019 take place?

DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019 will take place in Malmö, Sweden. Group Stage takes place at the Malmömässan while Playoffs will be held in the Malmö Arena.

Which teams have the best chance at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019?

Unlike ESL One New York 2019 which featured just eight teams, Malmö will see sixteen top CS:GO teams in action. Many teams like Na’Vi, NIP, Vitality, G2 Esports and Tyloo are debuting their new rosters at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019.

Astralis and Team Liquid

The battle between the two best teams will continue at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019. Astralis has emerged as the better team in the last two tournaments; however, Team Liquid remains No. 1.

The Danish team’s successive Grand Finals appearance places them firmly ahead of Team Liquid. The North American team, however, will look to seek revenge on Astralis for their Berlin Major defeat.

Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses won ESL One New York 2019 after defeating Astralis 3-1 in the Grand Finals. Under the new organization, the former NRG squad looks set to become one of the best teams in the world.

However, playing at Malmö will be quite different as Evil Geniuses will face competition from upcoming teams such as Na’Vi, Mousesports, Vitality and G2 esports. The $250,000 tournament will put them to test and time will tell whether they can stand up to the competition.

The French Teams – Vitality and G2

The French shuffle saw Shox shift teams from G2 Esports to Vitality, adding more firepower to one of the best CS:GO teams. G2 Esports go the International route as they added Nexa and huNter- from CR4ZY.

French teams have traditionally fared better after roster changes, so DreamHack Masters Malmö will be an exciting tournament for French fans. Shox adds some much-needed firepower and experience to Vitality. He will relieve some pressure off ZywOo who is a clear contender for the title of the best player in the world.

DreamHack Masters will continue at the Malmö Arena for the Playoffs starting October 4.
