BLACKPINK ready for November PUBG Mobile show match

To promote PUBG Mobile, a special show match has been organized featuring BLACKPINK members and three other high-profile personalities in “DDEDDEDDEDDE,” “BEENU,” and singer Kim Hee-chul.

At the beginning of September, a new collaboration with BLACKPINK made its way onto the game. From cosmetic items, gameplay features, to the possibility of sending in-game items to the members of the band as gifts, this collaboration was an immense success. So much so that a PUBG show match is already on its way.

It’s now official, fans of BLACKPINK and PUBG Mobile can watch a collaboration between the two. All members of the famous band will play a showdown match on the famous battle royale. In addition to BLACKPINK members, top streamers BEENU and DDEDDEDDEDDE will also be a part of this huge match. Popular South Korean singer Kim Hee Chul also received an invitation to complete the roster.

For now, there is no specific date as to when this “Fun Match” will take place, but it will happen in November. Considering the current situation in the world, this special event likely won’t happen live. However, the show will go live on both Facebook and YouTube. Further details will probably be available in a couple of days.

PUBG Mobile was always looking at the music industry as a great way to combine both fanbases around exciting events. During PUBG Mobile Club Open in 2019, DJ Alan Walker put on an exciting show for fans in addition to his participation in the game.

This time, PUBG Mobile took it to another level by releasing first a wave of in-game content to build hype. Even the members’ in-game IDs were revealed to the public. After PUBG Mobile players grew used to BLACKPINK being associated with the game, the marketing team finally announced the climax of this collaboration in this November show match. Clearly, Travis Scott’s Astronomical concert on Fortnite had a huge impact on gaming and esports industry mentalities. Little by little, the music and the esports industry are collaborating to offer the best to one another.
