Beyond the Summit Summer Shuffle
When BTS announced Summer Shuffle at the end of May, Rocket League esports fans wondered who would make the cut. Today, six teams were announced as invited participants. NRG Esports, G2 Esports, eUnited, Rogue, Spacestation Gaming, and Team Envy made the cut. These six competitors will battle it out for the prize pool and BTS Summer Shuffle title. Two more teams will come in through qualifier events.
With a double-elimination format and best of seven matches, this will be a long exciting event. Rocket League Summer Shuffle splits eight teams into two groups, Group A and Group B. And from there, teams will compete for a spot in the winner’s bracket of playoffs. Although teams may not perform well during the group stage, they’ll have another chance in the loser’s bracket. From there, two finalists duke it out in the grand finals for the bulk of the $45 thousand prize pool.

Rocket League Esports
Sponsored by Psyonix, the Rocket League Summer Shuffle tournament is one of few before RLCS switches to RLCS X. After 13 Rocket League teams sent a letter to Psyonix asking for league changes, the response was a whole new league. Players and teams will treasure Summer Shuffle before Rocket League esports changes to a new unfamiliar format.
Beyond the Summit is an esports event organizer hosting multiple tournaments per year. The company is known mostly because of its Dota 2 events, BEYOND EPIC and Dota 2 Summit.
Fans can catch all the action on the BTS Rocket League Twitch channel. Competition begins on July 7 and this will be a tough one.
