Call of Duty League Standings
So far, lots of surprises emerged in the lower brackets with four CDL teams already out of the running. Only eight of Call of Duty’s best teams still hold a shot at winning the CDL Stage 4 Major. London Royal Ravens, Paris Legion, Los Angeles Thieves, and Los Angeles Guerrillas are out.
Unsurprisingly, Atlanta FaZe stomped opponents and remained true to their CDL points standings. The team surpassed expectations, defeating Minnesota RØKKR 3-0 and reaching the Winner’s Finals. The other Call of Duty League team to make it to Winner’s Finals is the Toronto Ultra, who fought a close match against 2020 CDL Champion Dallas Empire. But the Canadian representative won 3-2, now set to face FaZe tomorrow at 5:30 PM PST.

CDL Stage 4 Major
Seeing LA Thieves out of the major was truly a surprise with how much 100 Thieves worked on the roster and the CDL 2021 standings. But Cuyler “Huke” Garland couldn’t attend due to the lack of a COVID-19 test, leaving Zack “Drazah” Jordan as a replacement, who lost to the Guerrillas. Added pressure exists for all teams because this is one of few live LAN events in 2021.
With $500 thousand on the line at the CDL Stage 4 Major, the eight remaining Call of Duty esports teams must fight hard to win. Atlanta and Toronto currently hold the best chances at winning in the upper bracket. Though fans may see some upsets with everything seen so far. The major continues tomorrow at 11:30 AM PST with New York Subliners facing the Florida Mutineers. It all wraps up on Sunday, June 20, at 4 PM PST during the Call of Duty League Stage 4 Major Grand Finals.
