Every three days of competition comes with a day off in order to give players some rest. Competing at a high-level takes a large physical and mental toll, especially for those going all the way to the title match. Two resting days are given to players before going into the playoffs and also before the final three days.
As for the broadcast, SAP technology will be in place to improve the viewing experience for fans. After gathering data on previous matches, commentators can use graphs and statistics for better understanding.
Invited Dota 2 Teams
Twelve teams received an invite to participate in the event. Among these organizations are Team Liquid, Team Secret, OG, Nigma, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Virtus Pro, Natus Vincere, HellRaisers, Vikin.gg, FlyToMoon, and Alliance. One last team will also be invited, though it’s still unknown who it is.

To complete the roster, four more teams will have the chance to compete in ESL One Germany 2020. There will be an Open Qualifier to decide which teams can participate. More information about the Open Qualifier will be available at a later date.
The winner of this Dota 2 esports event will go home with a $150 thousand cash prize. Second and third place can also win $80 thousand and $45 thousand respectively.
Fans are already excited to see if any teams can stop Team Secret from winning two ESL One events in a row. October will be a huge month for Dota 2, culminating with the ESL One Germany 2020 grand final in November.
