Media company and betting platform Fandom Sports announced today that it signed a Letter of Intent with Funjoy Company Limited of China for special technology for predictions when it comes to esports events, games, and streaming platforms.
Fandom’s Partnership
This deal between the two brands looks to integrate new tech onto the Fandom platform and help it grow. Funjoy is here to grow Fandom to new heights through new verticals. Esports content creation, competition operations, esports entertainment, animation, and education are the primary focuses of deployment. Some of the new functionalities being added include new login methods, streaming platform selections, and multi streams. Funjoy will also help add multi-language support and all-ages predictions to reach more audiences.
Both parties will mutually work together to achieve other goals too. They hope to establish partnerships with game publishers and streaming platforms to access Fandom’s unique prediction models. Working with esports broadcasting and scholastic and collegiate esports can even be a future possibility. And like other successful models in the esports industry, both teams will seek sponsorship and advertising opportunities for Fandom.
Funjoy
As a joint venture between top industry firms in games and esports platforms, Funjoy wants to take its clients further by finding all sorts of opportunities. The company boasts the capability to host large-scale esports events, the best livestreaming technology, and even holds space for virtual reality esports as VR picks up. Through countless years of experience in gaming and esports, this collaboration with Funjoy will elevate Fandom.
“The sheer size and scope of the reach of our partners represents an opportunity for Fandom to deploy its UIA platform across the full spectrum of the esports industry.” Philip Chen, Chairman of Fandom Sports states. “The ability to access world-leading game developers and distribution channels for esports content touching hundreds of millions of esports fans across forty-five countries will give us the springboard to realize tremendous partner and stakeholder value. Our team is ready and primed to take on this opportunity and look forward to collaborating and innovating with the assembled teams.”
Funjoy recognizes the value of the growing esports industry and wants to get behind it asap. According to reports by Niko Partners, the Asian market for esports and mobile games saw $69 billion in 2019 revenue. That’s almost 45% of the entire global market. Through this Letter of Intent with Fandom Sports, both companies hope to see growth and take Fandom to the peak of betting and prediction services for esports. Fandom announced its new esports betting app and leadership team recently and looks to keep making big moves in 2021.
