FaZe Clan Announced Fortnite Elite Cup

FaZe Clan and Practice Server have partnered up to offer one of the biggest third-party tournaments for the 2021 Fortnite esports scene: the Elite Cup, sponsored by Nissan.

Right now, most professional players are waiting for the upcoming Fortnite Champion Series. However, it does not mean that the competitive environment completely stops. As a matter of fact, this timing is perfect for Nissan, FaZe Clan, and Practice Server to reveal their new Elite Cup.

Over the course of three days, from April 9 to April 11, top Fortnite players will fight to prove their dominance. Even though it is possible to enter the tournament via an Open Qualifier, the FaZe Clan Elite Cup remains heavily based on invitations.

After managing to go past the qualification process, the trios format will finally take place. Breaking down into 3 heats of 33 players, squads must provide high performances one after the other. Only this allows them to grab a ticket for the semifinals and potentially more. For the final day of competition on April 11, the Nissan Fortnite Elite Cup Grand Final will be a showdown for the title.

In addition to being a great tournament for practice, it also lets teams scout players. This event will provide fans with first glances at the momentum of every participant for the rest of the season. While some teams might prove strong from the start, others might be stamped with the underdog status.

With $25 thousand on the line, some of the best players already confirmed their participation. Fans will get to see Cody “Clix” Conrod, Mack “MackWood” Aesoph, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, Daniel “Dubs” Paul Walsh, and Nate “Kreo” Kou competing against each other.

Fans can tune in to either the FaZe Clan or Practice Server official Twitch channels to follow the action. The FaZe Elite Cup is also going to be commented on by Practice Server’s CEO “MonsterDface”.
