FaZe5 ends with surprise sixth FaZe Clan winner

After an exciting week finishing up the FaZe Clan Recruitment Challenge, today’s broadcast of the last of the FaZe5 winners ended with a surprise. Years of grinding paid off and FaZe Scope comes in as a surprise sixth member.

As the first-place winner and first to be announced, “Faxuty” won on the first day. Following his announcement, “Virus”, “Flea”, “Nio”, and “K1ng” were revealed. Today, FaZe Clan revealed that because of all the high-quality candidates in this year’s Recruitment Challenge, a sixth member will join. This is where FaZe Scope finally made it into the organization.

“We have been blown away by our community and all of the unbelievably talented people who participated in the FaZe 5 challenge this year,” Yousef Abdelfattah, co-founder of FaZe Clan and commonly known as FaZe Apex stated. “We love putting on this contest and getting to know our fans so much better, while they also get to know each other. We have so much fun finding new talent this way, and we are excited to continue doing FaZe 5 in the future. Congratulations to our new recruits — welcome to the FaZe family!”

FaZe Clan first announced its 2020 Recruitment Challenge back in the Summer of this year. Officially starting on September 4 and ending on December 31, fans can’t wait to see all five winners come together. When considering the huge prizes this year too, it’s no wonder the event is heated. Over $100 thousand is up for grabs for winners. On top of joining the org, winners each get a $20 thousand signing bonus from G GUEL because of a sponsorship deal. The top FaZe5 winner “Faxuty” even earned a Nissan Kicks car, customized just for him.

Scope is a Call of Duty streamer and sniper player who began his journey years ago when FaZe Clan inspired him. After repeatedly trying to win the FaZe Clan Recruitment Challenge, his efforts paid off. FaZe Scope is finally a reality thanks to his efforts and dedication. After the reveal, Scope spoke on the news on his stream while rewatching the highlight video multiple teams. He also told viewers that hard work was necessary to achieve his dream, encouraging them to keep going.

Now that the FaZe5 winners are all revealed, fans can’t wait to see the level of content the streamers will contribute. Already, FaZe Clan is seeing massive growth, with FaZe5 original content receiving over 35 million views collectively. The challenge itself saw over 210,000 applicants located all over the world.
