Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Release Date and Details

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is ending after nearly four months of action on March 16, the release date for Season 6 and the Zero Crisis Finale. To conclude the season, players witness the Zero Crisis Finale—an explosive event highlighting the end of Agent Jones’ mission and what happens to the island. On top of that, Fortnite will bring another new battle pass filled with cosmetics and playable features.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

After several weeks of build-up, the Zero Point reached a state of emergency. Agent Jones’ mission leads to a reality-warping conclusion and players can witness it all. As a single-player experience, the event kicks off when players log in to the new Fortnite season. In a release, Epic Games states that “the Zero Crisis Finale is sure to shape Reality as we know it.” Although players can only experience it in-game, the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 introduction will be broadcast worldwide. Details about the broadcast will be announced soon.

Zero Crisis Finale Release Date

Fans should know that all features from the previous season will depart with this finale. These features include Season 5’s battle pass and the side quests. Cosmetics, post max level Crystal Styles, and more leaves for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.

Additionally, Exotic Weapons are cheaper than ever. Players can use this advantage to acquire weaponry by spending Bars to wreak havoc. And for those who missed out on the Breathless Blades reward, completing Epic Quests for Fishstick or Lovely before the season ends unlocks the pickaxe just in time.

It’s unknown whether Fortnite plant to change the current map, the Zero Crisis Finale brings players to an old island, or add a new one. Epic Games did say that it will change “Reality,” hinting at a catastrophic event involving the Zero Point. Players don’t know Agent Jones’ mission is either before this big crisis takes place.
