H3CZ Back with OpTic Gaming
After rumors surfaced at the start of October that H3CZ reacquired OpTic Gaming, these rumors are confirmed today. OpTic’s social media channels and a press release shared the news this morning. He finally reunited with his brand that he took over in 2007 from Immortals Gaming Club.
According to the release, H3CZ and Immortals Gaming Club made an agreement after he recently reacquired OpTic Gaming. He could gain full ownership of OpTic by removing his remaining ownership of IGC. Unsurprisingly, the deal went through quick and Call of Duty League team OpTic returns to H3CZ’s hands.

Chicago Huntsmen Rebrand
With the change in ownership, Call of Duty League team Chicago Huntsmen will change to OpTic Chicago. Existing CDL players for the Huntsmen will remain on the team but under new leadership and branding. Call of Duty League players like Dylan “Envoy” Hannon already expressed satisfaction at the new change.
Never ever did I think I’d represent OpTic, but wow I am a grateful and happy man at the moment.

“OpTic Gaming has always been a part of me, and I am glad that it has finally returned home to our fans.” Hector “H3CZ Rodriguez said.
OpTic Gaming fans are ecstatic to see the legacy return for one of the best Call of Duty esports teams out there. The competitive scene has not been the same since H3CZ sold the brand in 2017 to Infinity Esports & Entertainment. Immortals Gaming Club will continue its other esports teams without a presence in Call of Duty League.
