Intel World Open
Teams from around the world can represent their country while they compete in one of Intel’s biggest events. As a part of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Rocket League esports teams can fight at Intel World Open for part of the $250 thousand prize pool. Weeks of open and closed qualifiers finally see the teams end it all at four regional competitions.
Regarding the rules of entry, the event is very minimal with restrictions. Participating players only need to be over 15 years old and can play on any console. Teams must hold three players with everyone from the same region. In order to avoid any legal issues, cosmetic items ad vehicles cannot use licensed brands, like the Batmobile vehicle. As for the format, open qualifiers are double-elimination best of threes while closed qualifiers are the same but with a best of five series instead.
Global Rocket League Esports
Many nations around the world will get represented in the Intel World Open competition. For the open and closed qualifiers, 21 teams and regions are featured.

After qualifiers, the four regional events will combine into Asia (Mainland), Asia (Maritime) and Oceania, EMEA, and Americas. The Intel World Open Rocket League esports tournament begins soon and teams should prepare fast. Anyone interested in registering only has until May 31 to get in with open qualifiers starting June 1.
