Leadership Change
The LCS PA made the reveal this morning by sharing the new leaders for the players and a new board of directors. On the player side, Darshan will lead the way as president, accompanied by vice-presidents Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in and Samson “Lourlo” Jackson. After playing competitively in the LCS and LCS Academy since early March, this choice of a leader is perfect. Although his past few years primarily set him in the academy scene, his experience is still invaluable overall.
As for the board of directors, they will make sure the LCS PA is able to succeed from the executive standpoint. The board is comprised of Jason Docton, Stephen Ellis, Ryan Fairchild, Lauren Gaba Flanagan, and Brian Tran. Finally, since posting a job opening back in January, the organization found a new overall leader. Phillip Aram will be the new full-time executive director to ensure the LCS Players Association’s success.
“Darshan brought me into the fold to execute on a vision of the LCSPA that increases transparency and collaboration in esports without compromising on the rights and wellness of players,” Phillip stated.
