To commemorate this sponsorship, Pringles cans all throughout Europe will contain a code that gives players an entry into a raffle to win the rarest League of Legends skins. As of this writing till September 8th, two Legacy skins will be given away each day. That is 84 different chances at winning. Legacy skins are notable cosmetics because they have been retired, seasonal, or used only for special events, being unavailable for the rest of the time.
“We’ve been steadily developing our esports footprint to gain stronger brand recognition with the community,” said Dominik Schafhaupt, Kellogg Company’s Marketing Manager Snacks Northern Europe. “We’ve seen the energy and passion of the LEC fans and were excited to work with the team at Riot to help us build our relationship with their community for the Summer Finals.”
The LEC has gathered quite a line up of sponsors for their inaugural season, including Alienware, KIA, Red Bull, Beko, Foot Locker, Lion Cereals, Cosmote, and now Pringles. Keep a tab open for the LEC Summer Split Finals when it comes around September 7-8.
