NRG Castle
The organization shook the world with the reveal of its new content house. The 20,000 square foot “gaming fantasy factory” boasts features like a rage room, to release frustration on physical objects, and fountains that dispense energy drinks. Interestingly, the rage room is designed after the Oval Office. This location even holds a theater with every gaming console released so far, including the new PlayStation and Xbox. NRG Executive Producer Grady Rains it as a “creative studio specifically for the creation of over-the-top gaming and viral content.”
Esports organization NRG describes their Castle as “a cutting-edge space for influencers and creatives to connect and enjoy one-of-a-kind installations, elevating gaming tournaments and content creation.” The new building will facilitate partnerships and is even open to the public.
Esports Content Houses
Gaming and content houses have become more popular in recent years thanks to esports organizations. Companies like TSM and 100 Thieves took big steps this year when they announced their facilities. TSM even announced a $13 million training facility last year.
Signed streamers and competitive players like Cody “Clix” Conrod will see a redesign in their career in the NRG Castle. Clix in particular was welcomed by NBA star Shaquille O’Neal who is an investor in the company. The powerhouse teams like NRG’s Rocket League team or Fortnite squad will greatly benefit from an exclusive space for gaming.

This announcement comes soon after NRG co-owner Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez signed a deal reacquired OpTic Gaming. The company saw its name in esports news and headlines while the deal was worked through. Boasting investors like Marshawn Lynch, Shaq, and Jennifer Lopez, NRG Esports holds a strong future. The addition of a new content and gaming house like the NRG Castle helps grow these creators and the industry. The company plans to release weekly videos on Friday to show off the new team house.
