Rainbow Six Siege Apocalypse
From May 4 to May 18, players can try the new game mode and experience a post-nuclear environment. Because of human greed and corruption, society collapsed and left two clans fighting each other. These two clans represent the two teams that can be played. The Keepers, warriors trying to piece back humanity and strengthen the world, face off against The Warband, scavengers taking whatever they can to survive.
In the Rainbow Six Siege Apocalypse game mode, Maestro, Melusi, Rook, Smoke, and Valkyrie make up the squad of The Keepers. These five operators represent the defenders in the mode. On the attacking side, players act as The Warband. Represented by Fuze, Gridlock, Maverick, Nomad, and Twitch, these five need to defuse or kill the enemies to win.
Event Details
When it comes to the actual event, it’s on a version of the Outback map with both sides getting unique abilities. Attackers are able to activate certain scanner rooms on the map to know if a defender is inside. While playing as a defender, players can actually move the container to be defused around the map.
Besides the event, Ubisoft is adding a set of cosmetics for purchase. The Apocalypse collection adds skins and headgear themed for the limited-time event. These can be found in their own set of item packs or purchased directly. The Apocalypse event in Rainbow Six Siege starts tomorrow and runs for two weeks.
