Red Bull Campus Clutch
Starting since the announcement, students from over 50 countries can team up on VALORANT to represent their university. Sign-ups are already live for teams of five students to join. The tournament itself is divided into three different phases. Each phase represents the order in which students will compete. Teams start off in the Qualifiers, then playing in National Finals, finally ending at the World Final.
Right now, details are only set for the Qualifiers, which occur from February to May 23. Successful teams continue through Nationals onto a prestigious World Final. Winners of the VALORANT Red Bull Campus Clutch can celebrate collegiate esports through multiple prizes. In addition to securing €20 thousand, winners can earn a cutting-edge gaming hub for their school. Finally, should the global pandemic improve, the winning team can attend VALORANT Masters, part of the exciting 2021 VALORANT Champions Tour.

Collegiate VALORANT Esports
Although this event is directly hosted by Red Bull Gaming and not Riot Games, it still marks a move to support collegiate esports. The scene continues to grow slowly because of a lack of support from developers and publishers. Thankfully, Riot is supporting from all angles when it comes to VALORANT esports.
Rewarding collegiate esports winners with participation at a VALORANT Champions Tour event is a unique move too. It helps keep those who participate involved in the competitive scene. Interested players should visit Red Bull Gaming’s website for their chance to shine at the VALORANT Red Bull Campus Clutch.
