North American Spring Regional 2
This Rocket League esports tournament follows a similar format to previous events. The group stage begins today and finishes tomorrow to seed the top 16 teams and eliminate the bottom four. On the next day, teams play in the knockout gauntlet, where four teams from the winners’ bracket and four from the losers’ bracket advance. April 11 ends all the action with the remaining eight teams in the playoffs. All matches are best of five except in the playoff stage, where they are best of sevens.
20 different teams plan to compete in the tournament but only one will win. With the prize pool distributed between so many teams, first place only takes home $30 thousand and 451 RLCS points. North American RLCS X Spring Regional 2 runs through the weekend with a winner crowned on Sunday, April 11.
Spring Ranking teams:
- Team Envy
- FaZe Clan
- G2 Esports
- Kansas City Pioneers
- Susquehanna Soniqs
- Charlotte Phoenix
- Ghost Gaming
- Spacestation Gaming
Closed Qualifier teams:
- Alpine Esports
- Pittsburgh Knights
- Scuba Squad
NA RLCS X
Following Rogue winning the Verizon 5G Ultra Cup, the first NA RLCS X Spring Regional ended with lots of surprises. Which team will come back and show Rogue who is truly the best? Now that FaZe Clan joined the roster with a Rocket League esports team after picking up The Peeps‘ roster, Spring Split standings may change.
As the second big Rocket League Championship Series season, RLCS X began in 2020 and still goes on. The final open circuit for the season, RLCS X Spring Split sees its last major next month in May. Teams need to perform their best here at the North American RLCS X Spring Split Regional 2 for chances at racking up valuable RLCS points.
