Season 3 launch guide for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Activision has finally released all content related to Call of Duty Season 3 for Modern Warfare. Fans will have a lot of opportunities to be busy as it brings new experiences to PVP and a big Warzone update. The Modern Warfare update is already available on Xbox, PS4, and PC. In a blog post, Activision revealed roadmap plans for their famous first-person shooter.

Warzone Updates

For Infinity Ward’s battle royale, Warzone brings fresh opportunities to keep players entertained. In the Quads mode, teams of four players will share life and death in order to be the last team standing. Apart from Warzone, the Quads mode will also be available in Plunder.

Warzone also showcases improvements to the looting system. Since looting is the most important piece in battle royales, developers need to update the system so players can keep finding excitement in the game. Future game modes and content have also been teased.

Modern Warfare Updates

Coming from the main storyline, operator Alex will now be unlockable. Thought to be dead in the story, players can now use him as part of the Coalition’s deep operator pool. Getting a new operator always excites fans and a hero from the solo campaign further boosts the hype.

Two new weapons have been added in Modern Warfare Season 3. The Renetti is a close-range semi-automatic pistol and the SKS is a lightweight carbine rifle. In Call of Duty multiplayer, weapon balance is the most important aspect as it can make or break the game. Only time will tell what impact these two new weapons will have on the game’s balance.

6v6 modes also introduce three new maps. These maps include Hovec Sawmill, a farming village with fights in the local business area, Aniyah Incursion, a tighter version of the 10v10 and Ground War map and, Talsik Backlot, an urban city in an Urzikstan desert. New maps keep players engaged and are just what’s needed for Call of Duty’s biggest title.

Future Content and Patches

A lot of content will be free for those who already own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The only notable exceptions are the operator Alex, for which players must purchase the Season 3 Battle Pass. This pass comes with many rewards like Call of Duty points and skins.

Modern Warfare Season 3 is a perfect time to patch previous bugs, making the game a better experience. Regiment selection errors and cutscene skip issues have finally been solved. For a series like Call of Duty, releasing a new season updates its esports scene and makes sure fans stay interested in the game.
