UNITED FOR TEXAS
Beginning on Friday, February 26, fans can donate to support relief efforts while watching different gaming entertainment. BotezLive, consisting of Alexandra Botez and Andrea Botez who live in Austin, will lead the event. The streamer sisters will reveal multiple goals and engagement methods to incentivize donations. Through social media and live streaming, the Envy Gaming streamers will facilitate community engagement.
Besides BotezLive, other notable streamers participating include Call of Duty League players Ian “Crimsix” Porter, members of XSET Gaming, Envy CGO Mike “Hastr0” Rufail, and more. UNITED FOR TEXAS isn’t exclusive to Envy Gaming’s streamers either. Anyone interested in hosting a charity stream, regardless of audience size, can find Envy’s page to sign up.

So far, over ten top streamers plan to contribute to Envy Gaming’s UNITED FOR TEXAS charity stream event. More creators and contributors will be announced throughout the weekend. Giveaways and partnerships with brands like CORSAIR, GameStop, Jack in the Box, Predator Gaming, and SCUF may also take place to encourage donations.
“There are a lot of people that need help right now in Texas and a lot of people asking, ‘How can I help?’ Gaming and streaming have always been a way to connect communities on so many different levels and it’s important for us all to step up when our fellow Texans are in need,” Mike Rufail, owner at Envy Gaming said.
Americares, American Red Cross, and the SPCA of Texas are the primary beneficiaries to receive the funds. Anyone interested in donating to aid Texas through this winter storm can view the UNITED FOR TEXAS site.
