VALORANT Invitational Grand Final, the Europeans delivered a 2-0 sweep in the semifinals against Team need more DM. G2’s players faced fish123, one of the tournament favorites, in the title match.

G2 Esports’ Tactical Win

G2 decided to keep its lineup composed of Jett, Omen, Cypher, Sova, and Sage. In order to face fish123, considered one of the best VALORANT team, the Spanish team did not risk a surprise lineup. For G2 Esports, the key was to set up an environment where fish123’s talents could not perform to the best of their abilities. Patryk “Patitek” Fabrowski and David “davidp” Prins perfectly applied this, earning nineteen kills each.
