Worlds 2020 finalists with only two teams left

This weekend ended two big League of Legends esports matches in the 2020 World Championship with the two Worlds finalists decided. The two Worlds 2020 finals teams that made it through the semifinals are DAMWON Gaming and Suning.

Worlds 2020 Finals Teams

Fav favorite G2 Esports came in representing Europe’s LEC and hoped to avenge themselves after choking in 2019’s Worlds finals against FunPlus Phoenix. Unfortunately, their previous strength was unavailable as they last 3-1 to Korean team DAMWON Gaming. Losing the hopes of Western League of Legends esports teams, only Korea and China remained in Worlds.

The second match between Top Esports and Suning ended in a close series with a win for the Suning latter. The series ended in a close 3-1 decided by crucial picks, especially on Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan. But even with close fights and important picks, Suning pushed through with objective control to become a Worlds 2020 finalist team.

League of Legends Esports

So far, this League of Legends Worlds Championship has been full of excitement for fans everywhere. Between a dominating run of the Group Stage from some of the greatest players in history, this year will surely beat records. Now, Suning and DAMWON Gaming represent China and Korea respectively to face off against each other next week.

Even though Worlds 2020 has been full of close matches during the quarterfinals and semifinals, only the LCK and LPL got through. Fans can find the current standings on the LoL Esports website. The World 2020 finals will take place on Saturday, October 31, at 3 AM PST between the last two teams. Will Korea take back their League of Legends esports throne or is China holding on to it?
