Following serious rumors about enabling sexual assault, Xtra Gaming now faces the departure of most of its roster and the loss of its RAZER sponsorship.
Serious allegations have surfaced accusing XTRA Gaming of silencing JeffTheMVP. In a twitlonger, the former Xtra Gaming player narrated his story of being drugged and sexually assaulted at a party. Furthermore, he mentioned how his own team would have threatened to drop him if he went public with it.

At the core of the affair stand XTRA Gaming’s influencers Carter and Raffy. At the party, JeffTheMVP received drinks from them, which immediately raised his suspicions. With the help of a friend, Jeff tried his best to avoid trouble but ended up passing out still. The following day, he realized what had happened and immediately reported the incident to the authorities and his team.

In a tweet, Xtra Founder and CEO xtra_sly acknowledged his part in this incident. While he urged the victims to assist the local authorities in any way, his handling of the situation was clearly not the best. This story is sure to hurt the XTRA Gaming brand which now looks relatively empty without several players and a key sponsor.
Mass Exodus
Several members have announced their exit from XTRA gaming following this affair. While Vohlii, Reet, and calebfnx simply announced their upcoming free agency, Trevor “verT” Orell denounced his former team’s unacceptable way of dealing with such an important matter.
After @KEEMSTAR shed light to what has transpired recently with @xtragaming; Being abused by my father, having no home etc. I have experienced the disregard first hand by XTRA. They knew what I was going through for MONTHS and ignored me.

XTRA Gaming had just secured its Razer sponsorship just a few months ago. However, this much-hyped transaction has now come to a close as the peripherals brand has decided to pull out. The allegations against the organization shed a poor light on the brand and Razer did not wish to be associated with the Fortnite team any longer.
