Leakers have found potential new features in the Call of Duty database for future patches. Among these Warzone leaks are a new Zombie Royale game mode and a new night map.
The latest August 24 Warzone patch introduced quite a few things, including King Slayer mode. But that was only the beginning. These leaks come from ModernWarzone, who proved themself through consistently leaking accurate features ahead of time. However, since these are only leaks, everything is subject to change.
Warzone Leaks
Zombie Royale
Players will need to be aware of their surroundings in this new Warzone Zombie Royale. Fallen opponents transform into zombies that will hunt surviving players to consume their hearts and revive. The win condition is to remain the only team with a human alive.
Zombie modes are arguably the most popular modes in the Call of Duty franchise. It is no surprise to see it revived in Call of Duty Warzone. In addition, playing zombies was always a great experience for players in Call of Duty Mobile.
Other modes coming to Warzone include Plunder: Fire Sale, Armored Cargo, Truck Wars, Pandemic, and Outbreak.
Night Mode
ModernWarzone found something interesting with the Warzone map. According to this leak, there will be game modes called “Nightfall Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads” based on a Warzone night map. Night maps are not new to Call of Duty, but this is huge when considering the scale of Warzone.

Even though these files are already on the database, there is no information about a potential release date. New information regarding these leaks might come in a few days.
Infinity Ward’s strategy holds the objective of introducing new content so often that players focus on Call of Duty Modern Warfare. As there are many other battle royales, developers need to retain their players. Betting on a zombie mode always proved successful as one of Call of Duty’s staple features.
