Six Sweden Major 2021
The Rainbow Six Siege esports split is over for Stage 3 and teams now enter even more international competition with the Six Sweden Major 2021. Four teams from each of the four main regions come to compete at this LAN event. Between Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, 16 R6 esports teams compete for the $500 thousand prize pool and SI points. Held in Gasklockorna in Gävle, Sweden, the tournament runs from November 8 to November 14 with no live audience.
Similar to the Six Mexico Major, all 16 teams get divided into four groups of four. From the group stage, the top two teams per group advance into playoffs. After the group stage, playoffs and semifinals are played best-of-three and single-elimination. In the end, the best two Rainbow Six Siege esports teams play a best-of-five match final.
