Envy Gaming announced yesterday that esports competitor Team Envy will reenter the competitive Halo scene.
Team Envy in Halo
Though the team competed previously in Halo from 2015 to 2018, a lack of success took them out. Now, Envy is back with a squad of veteran players. Starring Justin “iGotUrPistola” Deese, a long time Halo esports winner, Tommy “Saiyan” Wilson, a previous Team Envy member, Joey “TriPPPeY” Taylor, who competed with Saiyan on Envy before, Bradley “aPG” Laws who played in Halo esports since 2009, and Alex “Swift Kill” Ramirez appearing as coach after over a decade of experience.

With this roster of Halo esports veterans, Team Envy will surely make records when the game launches.
“We enjoyed some great accomplishments with our involvement in Halo from 2015 to 2018, but we’re hungry to add a World Championship title to our name,” said Envy Gaming Owner and Chief Gaming Officer Mike Rufail. “That’s what we’re here to do this time around. We’ve got talented players who we’ve worked with before, brought in new talent, and are going to give this team the best possible training center and resources from our headquarters in Dallas.”
Halo Infinite Esports
Along with Halo Infinite’s release in December 2020, the esports scene can expect Team Envy and other orgs to join in. The game holds a long history and with a fresh competitive scene rising up, new excitement and talent will join the esports industry.
When Microsoft launches the next title in the fan-favorite series, Team Envy will be there to welcome fans to a new decade of competition. The Dallas-based organization holds lots of teams in other esports like Overwatch League team Dallas Fuel and Call of Duty League champion Dallas Empire. This adds yet another team to their lineup of esports teams.
