Activision just released the trailer for Season 6 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, showcasing huge explosions all over Verdansk and Adler fighting his brainwashing.
In a very theatrical trailer, Activision gave away most of Season 6’s plot lines. A huge quantity of bombs exploded all over the Stadium and Downtown area of Verdansk. Meanwhile, with the help of an experimental device, Mason helped Adler fight against his brainwashing.
Cold War Season 6
This will be the last season before the jump to Call of Duty Vanguard and the Pacific Map. It means that there is basically no future for Verdansk, allowing the developers infinite creativity. The trailer already gave fans a taste of what is to come. During the first few seconds, Stitch managed to defuse a detonator, only to witness other explosions taking place.
Warzone players will probably have to roam around a destroyed Verdansk. An earthquake separated the Stadium in two, and dozens of buildings fell apart. Verdansk, the witness of countless battles between iconic characters of the Call of Duty franchise, is now on its last leg. There is no doubt this map will have a place in the community’s heart, even after the move to Vanguard.
Adler’s Brainwashing
With Mason’s help, Adler got rid of Perseus’ brainwashing. Their location is an obvious tribute to Call of Duty Black Ops 1 and Mason’s prior experiments. With the help of a machine pumping a green liquid, Adler manages to get back to his former self. A simple interaction gives away that Mason simply has nothing to do with the explosions. Furthermore, a tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account teased the final showdown between Adler and Stitch.
? ATTENTION OPERATORS ? Adler is back. Let’s finish what we’ve started ?

Like every Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War season so far, players can expect loads of new content, from customization items to weapons. There might also be a slight chance that Mason, a fan-favorite character, will also finally be playable. The new Season 6 will be available on October 7th, alongside the new Zombies map called Forsaken.
